We love the iconic vehicles from the original films and one thing we find fascinating is the behind the scene process of designing those beloved ships! Our concept Xwing is inspired from the drawings and paintings of Ralph Mcquarrie. We matched the shapes and forms with intricate detail and then just like the visual effects team did on the original films, we looked through our library of kit parts and filled in all of the details with original kit parts, making it a true part of the original trilogy family!

Our signature production process is what makes a Merlin model kit great. Using our custom RIGIDYNE casting material and limiting the use of our molds we are able to keep our castings pristine and each piece is cleaned and polished before being packaged.
